Welcome to our new employee web!

The new employee web has a thematic structure rather than the previous organisational one, and Microsoft Teams has replaced "Min arbetsplats" as the space dedicated to each unit.

As an employee, you should be able to find much of what you need for your work on the new employee web, such as new articles, contact information, tools and the university’s governing documents. The employee web also brings together products that are part of the Microsoft 365 package, so it is easier for to overview your files, email and Teams.

Which parts of the employee web are public or private?

Some of the new employee web is open to everyone, including external visitors. Information pages and governing documents on the employee web are open for anyone to read, but login is always required to see your Teams and your personal files, email and calendar in Microsoft 365.

The employee web’s homepage in English has a news feed, and in Swedish it has a news feed, calendar posts and och alerts for service disruptions. These are only displayed after you have logged in. Verktyg [tools] and Favoriter [Favourites] are also only visible after you have logged in.

My page – your personal page

All employees have their own page – “My page”. This contains the events in your calendar, your files in OneDrive and the Teams for which you are authorised. It is also where you can access “Min profil” [my profile], where you update your staff card.

News on the homepage

The employee web has a news feed at the bottom of the homepage, which is only visible if you are logged in. All university employees can create news articles for the homepage. To start writing a new article for the feed, click the “create article” button.

  1. Step 1 is to add your heading, introduction and content (main text) [rubrik, ingress and innehåll].
Check the box for the unit publishing the news article.
  2. In the second step, you can preview the news article, go back and edit the content or cancel it completely. If you are happy with the content – click on the “Publish article” button.
  3. Step three confirms that your news article has been published.
