Wellbeing initiative – autumn 2026

This autumn, the University is making an extra investment in your health and wellbeing. Would you like to take part? You are welcome to try a range of activities together with colleagues from across the University.

During the semester, all employees will have the opportunity to try different activities. The first session will take place on Wednesday 16 September. The aim is to encourage physical activity, but there will also be sessions focusing on rest and recovery.

“The theme of the initiative is physical activity and a sustainable working life,” says Karin Borner, Head of HR. “We have been planning this since the spring, and it is great that we have managed to put together so many different activities with so many people getting involved. The initiative will conclude in November with the reopening of the staff gym in MD.”

September theme: Everyday physical activity

Activities in September include massage, stair training, Bodypump and line dancing.

October theme: Enjoying exercise and feeling good

Activities include interval training, circuit training, core training and Pilates.

November theme: Recovery and sustainable working life

Participants will have the opportunity to try yoga, take part in a workshop on strength training and kettlebells, try singing in a choir and attend a lecture by Lina Ejlertsson, a researcher specialising in recovery.

You need to register in advance

The activities are suitable for both beginners and those who exercise regularly. Come as you are and get inspired!

Most activities have limited capacity, so you will need to register in advance. Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis. Visit the Wellbeing Weeks 2026 page (in Swedish, "Friskvårdssatsning hösten 2026") for the full schedule and to register.
