Research database - Open4Research

Here, it is possible for all researchers at Södertörn University to find current announcements of research funding and travel grants.

Open4Research

Open4Research is an online database that is continuously updated and contains announcements of research funds and funding opportunities from thousands of funders around the world. It is also possible to automatically monitor announcements of interest.

Since October 1, 2021, Södertörn University has had a subscription with Open4Research. All employees at Södertörn University have access to the database.

Create an account

You create an account by visiting Södertörns högskolas Open4Reserach page. External link, opens in new window. There you can register with your sh.se e-mail address. Note that the confirmation email may end up in the spam box. Move this email to your inbox and then click on the confirmation link.

Monitor calls

When you are logged in, it is possible to automatically monitor research areas of interest. You can search and filter by theme, keywords, your profile and so on. By saving their searches, it is possible to monitor future announcements based on your chosen criteria. To monitor a call, you need to tick the Email notification box when you save the call.
