Internal funding

The page information is still being updated.

At the university, there are internal funds to apply for, including travel and conferences.

There may be differences in which institutions that can apply for funding or the forms that should be used - depending on the institution.

Centre for Baltic and East European Studies (CBEES) grants funding for organising conferences and workshops associated with the university’s Baltic Sea region and Eastern Europe profile.

Researchers, doctoral students and teachers who are active at Södertörn University are eligible to apply for funding for conferences and workshops.

Before applying for funding, applicants have to contact one of CBEES’ professors/research associates to discuss target groups, implementation, relevance and how the conference contributes to strengthening the university’s Baltic Sea region and Eastern Europe profile – please see the webpage for more details. External link, opens in new window.

It is very important to note that applications must be sent to cbees@sh.se ,with the subject “CBEES workshops and conferences spring 2021”. Applications have to follow the guidelines for applications to CBEES for funding for conferences, workshops and seminars. The guidelines, budget template and online report template are available at the end of this information.

The final date for applications is 14 June 2021. Applicants will be contacted with results within three weeks after the final date for application.

For more information, applicants need to contact directly one of CBEES’ professors:

Mark Bassin, mark.bassin@sh.se
Irina Sandomirskaja, irina.sandomirskaja@sh.se
and/or CBEES Research Associates:
