Promotion

If you are a lecturer with a permanent position (employed until further notice) you can apply for promotion to senior lecturer; if you are a senior lecturer with a permanent position you can apply for promotion to professor.

Professional development

The university has two qualification levels for teachers’ professional development: recognised university teacher and distinguished university teacher. The Faculty Board determines the requirements and criteria for each level.

To apply for an associate professorship (docent), you must have a doctoral degree and be able to demonstrate sufficient scientific and teaching expertise.

If you are employed at the university during the period of the position, you are welcome to apply. Make sure you are logged in to the employee web, click on the position that interests you and click “Ansök” (apply).
